1. Parties and acceptance
These terms provide the use framework between AxelVira Teknoloji A.Ş., which provides the MetriLume service, and the person who uses the website, mobile application, or a connected feature. Rules applying to public features remain accessible before use. If account registration, a paid order, or another transaction that requires acceptance is enabled, the applicable Terms of Use version is accepted through a separate affirmative action and that acceptance is recorded.
The Privacy Policy, KVKK + GDPR Privacy Notice, and Cookie Policy are informational notices; presenting them or accessing the service does not constitute consent to optional processing. Consents for marketing, optional cookies, and early performance are obtained separately from one another and from these Terms of Use. If you act on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind it. If these terms conflict with a separate written business agreement, the signed agreement prevails only with respect to the conflicting matter.
2. Eligibility to use the service
You must have legal capacity to enter into a contract under applicable law. If you are a minor or otherwise lack full capacity, you may use the service only with the valid consent and supervision of your legal representative. Any higher age requirement displayed for a feature applies to that feature.
3. Scope of the service
- Tools for viewing, ranking, and comparing financial data.
- US Markets Beta, which displays public US-company records and financial-statement facts fetched from SEC EDGAR and produces an explainable, price-independent research score only from those fundamentals.
- Mathematical calculators based on the user’s own assumptions and initial-public-offering and dividend tools that process only data entered by the user.
- A portfolio recording and tracking tool stored only on the device by default.
- Lume Scenario, which lets the user name and save up to 12 scenarios based on their own assumptions and operates only on the device.
- Lume Journal, which keeps up to 250 decision entries comprising the user’s title, thesis/decision, expectation/assumption, risk/signal, review plan, review notes/outcome, status, and record times only on the device.
- Lume Learn, which provides lesson content and remembers lesson identifiers, progress, scores, and timestamps only on the device.
- Lume Embed, which displays a MetriLume financial widget as an iframe on an external website under the limited license in these terms.
- Account, cloud synchronization, notification, and paid-membership features when the required authorization and production gates are open.
4. Account and security
When the account feature is enabled, you are responsible for providing accurate information, protecting access to your devices and identity providers, not sharing your session, and promptly reporting suspected misuse. You may not use another person’s identity or circumvent access controls.
Where a security, regulatory, or abuse risk exists, we may terminate a session, request additional verification, or temporarily restrict an account. Account deletion and its data consequences are governed by the Privacy Policy and KVKK + GDPR Privacy Notice.
5. Acceptable use
The following conduct is prohibited:
- Using the service unlawfully, deceptively, fraudulently, or in a manner that infringes another person’s rights.
- Extracting data without authorization, running high-volume automation, or circumventing rate limits or bot protections.
- Reverse engineering source code where not permitted by law, exploiting a vulnerability, or transmitting malicious code.
- Removing data-license, copyright, trademark, database, or access restrictions, or republishing or selling financial data without authorization.
- Attempting unauthorized access to another user, account, administrative interface, API key, or system.
- Misrepresenting that MetriLume or a data provider endorses, approves, or provides investment advice.
6. User data and on-device portfolio
My watchlist and saved research views are held only on this device under metrilume:research-workspace:device:v1, using localStorage on the web and AsyncStorage in the mobile application. The store contains market type, fund code or US ticker, instrument name and time added, together with view identifiers, the view name you provide, supported research selections such as filters/search query, sorting and period, saved timestamps and the store version. Technical limits are up to 200 instrument references, 20 saved views and 256 KiB in total. Instrument references are not price histories or portfolio balances. These records have no MetriLume account or server synchronization, server backup or support recovery. Opening a saved view passes its supported filters and search query into the relevant page’s URL/query parameters and to the MetriLume API to retrieve results; on the web, the URL query string may reach the browser, network/edge layer and server. The view name you provide is not added to these queries and stays on the device. Records remain until you remove the relevant instrument/view in the product or clear browser site data or application storage. Losing or changing a device, changing browsers, uninstalling or reinstalling the application may cause record loss. Deleting an account does not automatically clear these local records.
You retain your rights in your portfolio entries and the records you create in Lume Scenario, Lume Journal, and Lume Learn. Only if you expressly enable a cloud feature do you grant us a limited permission, tied to the duration of the service, to host, process, back up, and synchronize data within that feature’s scope with the devices you select; the default on-device portfolio and Lume records do not create that server permission. We do not sell your data for advertising.
The on-device portfolio and saved Lume Scenario, Lume Journal, and Lume Learn records are stored locally by default; they are not synchronized with a server or account and cannot be recovered by support. Deleting them in the product, clearing browser data, uninstalling or reinstalling the application, or changing devices or browsers may cause records to be lost. Deleting an account does not automatically clear browser localStorage records. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of your records and for maintaining a personal backup where needed. Do not place identifying personal or confidential information in a Scenario name or Embed URL configuration, and avoid special-category data, account/access credentials, and unnecessary personal or confidential information about another person in Journal and other free-text fields.
7. Intellectual property and limited license
The MetriLume software, design, brand elements, original text, and compilations belong to AxelVira or its licensors. Subject to your compliance with these terms, you receive a limited, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable right to access the service for personal or internal organizational purposes. That right remains valid while the public service is available or, where applicable, for the paid order period; it may be revoked only for an objective reason such as a material breach of these terms, security abuse, a legal requirement, or lawful discontinuation of the service, while preserving mandatory consumer and refund rights.
Raw data from a financial source may be subject to its provider’s rights and terms of use. The applicable source, date, methodology, and attribution information is displayed on the relevant product surface. Display of the service does not grant you the right to remove those indicators; download, transmit, or redistribute raw or derived financial data in bulk; build a competing database; or resell it commercially.
Subject to your compliance with these terms, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable right to display Lume Embed on an external website you control using only the official iframe code provided by MetriLume. As publisher, you are responsible for your website’s security, content, user notices, and configuration. You may not alter or remove MetriLume branding or source, date, methodology, or general-information/not-investment-advice disclosures; capture, monitor, or transmit widget inputs elsewhere; imply affiliation with or endorsement by MetriLume or a data source; or use the Embed to republish or distribute fund data. The title and other visible URL configuration must not contain personal, special-category, or confidential information.
8. Financial data and calculations
Price, return, risk, investor count, size, and similar information may be affected by source delays, corrections, classifications, or technical outages. Even where the term “live” is used, it is not a guarantee of an exchange-level, real-time, executable quote. Verify material decisions against official issuer, Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), fund-document, and authorized-institution records.
Results from general calculators, Lume Scenario, Lume Embed, and input-only initial-public-offering and dividend tools are mathematical outputs of the assumptions you enter; they are not a personalized suitability assessment or recommendation and may not reflect all taxes, fees, inflation, liquidity, volatility, or personal circumstances. Lume Journal is a user-authored record, and Lume Learn is educational content; neither validates an investment outcome. Past performance does not indicate future results.
The US Markets Beta research score is calculated only from the displayed SEC EDGAR financial-statement facts, data coverage, and published methodology; it uses no price, valuation, momentum, or personal circumstances and is not a “buy/sell” signal. SEC records may later change or be restated.
The TradingView chart in the US Markets Charts module and stock screener on the BIST equities page are provider-hosted visual displays. BIST prices and daily percentage changes are end-of-day data, not real-time quotes; coverage and update status appear in the provider’s screen. Chart market data may be delayed; SPY, QQQ, and DIA are ETF proxies, not index levels. MetriLume does not extract or bulk-store that data, use it for a score, alert, or order, or redistribute it.
9. Third-party services
The service may link to a third-party data source, identity provider, payment page, application store, or another website. The TradingView chart or stock screener loads automatically when the web or mobile US Markets Charts module or BIST equities page opens; the provider request and data practices begin with that connection, and TradingView branding/attribution within these displays may not be removed. We do not control those parties’ content, outages, contracts, or data practices. A link does not imply endorsement or a warranty.
10. Paid features
A price or plan not published by the server is not a valid offer. A membership entitlement is activated only after a verified result from an authorized payment provider. Card data is processed on the hosted provider interface.
11. Changes, interruptions, and beta status
Account-free open-beta features, including fund and US Markets pages, Lume Scenario, Lume Journal, Lume Learn, and Lume Embed, may be modified, temporarily suspended, or removed for security, maintenance, licensing, data-source, regulatory, or objective product reasons. The format, methodology, storage schema, and availability of beta features may change; no export, server backup, or backward compatibility is promised for local records, and an Embed publisher must regularly check that the integration remains functional. During a fixed paid period, a change that materially reduces the contracted scope or an early withdrawal is made only for an objective reason, with applicable advance notice, a reasonable remedy, and a pro rata refund for the unused period where mandatory law requires it. This clause does not restrict rights concerning nonconforming services or other mandatory rights.
12. Warranties and limitation of liability
Subject to mandatory applicable law, the service is provided as available and in its current state. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, suitable for a particular investment outcome, or that every source will always be current.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses; investment decisions made without independent verification; loss of on-device data; or third-party interruptions beyond our control. This provision does not exclude liability for intent, gross negligence, personal injury, mandatory consumer rights, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
13. Suspension and termination
If these terms are breached or a security or legal risk arises, we may proportionately restrict access. You may end the agreement by ceasing to use the service and, if enabled, using the account-deletion or membership-cancellation tools. Provisions concerning payment, intellectual property, liability, disputes, and any provision that by its nature should survive continue after termination.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for new features or changes in law. We publish material changes with a version and effective date and, where necessary, provide advance in-product or direct notice. Changes do not apply retroactively. Renewed acceptance may be requested before you continue using a paid or account feature that requires acceptance.
15. Governing law and disputes
The laws of the Republic of Türkiye apply, without prejudice to mandatory consumer and data-protection rules. Consumers may apply to the competent consumer arbitral committee or consumer court at their place of residence or where the transaction occurred, subject to applicable monetary and jurisdictional thresholds. This provision does not restrict rights to a supervisory authority or court under the GDPR.
